How About The Holy Balls On This Louisiana Pastor Who Wants People To Donate Their Covid-19 Stimulus Checks To His Church?

NYDN -  Pastor Tony Spell, who has defiantly kept his Louisiana church open amid the coronavirus pandemic, is now calling for people to donate their stimulus money to religious personnel.  The pastor of Life Tabernacle Church near Baton Rouge introduced the #PastorSpellStimulusChallenge on Wednesday and urged those who received stimulus money for COVID-19 relief to give it to evangelists, missionaries and music ministers “who haven’t had an offering in a month.” In an outdoor video, Spell said the challenge begins this Sunday, and that he, his wife and son will all be donating the entirety of their stimulus money.

The #PastorSpellStimulusChallenge, everyone!  It's like the ALS Ice Bucket challenge, but instead of encouraging a viral movement which generates money and awareness for a great, moral cause, it's about...um...getting into heaven?  Sure, why not!  It's basically free money the government has given you to live, and you don't need that literal survival stash to survive in the afterlife!

Cue the music, Phil!

PS - Whenever I see these people ask for money all I think of is these millionaires defending their private jets.  That Good Word can't be spread unless it's done in the most luxurious way possible, right?  Not like Greed is a deadly sin or anything.
