Hilary Duff Files For Divorce From Ex-Flyer Mike Comrie

HuffPo – Hilary Duff has filed for divorce from Mike Comrie, TMZ reports. According to the website, Duff cites irreconcilable differences in the papers, and asks for primary physical custody of the couple’s son, Luca, 2. Duff and Comrie announced their separation in January 2014. At the time, a rep confirmed the split to HuffPost Celebrity, adding: “They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other’s lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time.”

So this news might be a couple days old but none of the other Flyers beat reporters have been talking about it so I guess it’s up to Jordie to do everyone’s job for them. It’s been some troubled times for Hil-dawg and ex-Flyer Mike Comrie. Honestly, I really thought that they were going to work out. That may just be because I am young and naive, but I saw potential for true love there. So when they broke up last year, I was devastated. But Cory and Topanga broke up before and look at them now. Happier than ever and in a whole new show together. So I had faith in Hilary and Mike’s relationship. But after Mike Comrie recently spent a wild night of reportedly “flirting” with girls (what a monster), the straw finally broke the camel’s back and now they are getting divorced. Such a shame, too, because hockey players have been doing great in the world of famous blonde smokes. You have Valeri Bure with Candace Cameron. Mike Fisher with Carrie Underwood. And what used to be Mike Comrie with Hilary Duff. I guess all great things must come to an end at some point.
