I Hate "What Ifs"...But I Could Listen To Paul Pierce Talk About Kobe All Night Long

(I'm sorry I'm cucking you Greenie but it's late and I saw this clip and wanted to blog it. Shoot me.)

In the words of Tony Soprano, "remember when" is the lowest form of conversation. He was, of course, talking about everything other than the 2008 Boston Celtics. I think of that team often. To be honest I'm kind of embarrassed about my knowledge when it comes today's team, but back then I was a die hard. Which is why whenever I see Pierce or KG of any of the guys from "that team" I turn it up. Especially now that Kobe's gone the entire saga takes on a whole new meaning. So today when they were playing the  2008/2010 championships battles I couldn't help but watch. The point I'm trying to make is that those games meant a ton to me and I love watching Pierce talk about them. He was always salty about a lot of his competition (looking at you LeBron) but you can tell how much he respected Kobe. I miss that guy.

As far as the "what ifs" go? I'm gonna side with Paul on this one. If either of those series had turned out differently, the legacies of both players would've been drastically changed. But hey, what's done is done. Here are some highlights for you while you get ready for bed. Enjoy.
