This Is The Face Of A Motorcyclist That Screamed "FUCK YOU!!" At a Guy Then Pulled Out a Pistol and Shot At Him
Raleigh - The Wake County Sheriff’s Office has charged a motorcyclist with firing a pistol at another driver Thursday evening. David Lloyd Mastin, 55, of Pine Thicket Court allegedly shot a .32-caliber handgun near the intersection of U.S. 401 and Ten-Ten Road south of Raleigh. It happened during rush hour. The victim called 911. “A man just took a shot at me and my car. He’s riding a Harley Davidson motorcycle. (inaudible) He took road rage at me and just took a shot at me,” said the caller. “I was in the traffic and he just- he pulled out a gun and said, ‘F-you!'” the caller continued. Two witnesses called 911 in the moments after seeing the road rage unfold. “There was a guy on a motorcycle and he just shot a gun at a guy in a blue BMW,” said one witness to 911 dispatchers. “He jumped in front of this BMW but the BMW guy had to swerve over because the motorcycle got in front of him,” they told dispatchers. “So he pulled up to the motorcycle at the light and was saying to him (inaudible) ‘you pulled in front of me,’ and then they said words and then the man just pulled a gun out and shot at him.” No one was hurt and the bullet(s) didn’t hit anything. Deputies declined to say how many times Mastin allegedly fired. Mastin is charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, misdemeanor going armed to the terror of people and resisting arrest. He posted a $10,000 bond and was released from jail Thursday night.
Hey, we’ve all let our feelings get the best of us before. Especially while driving. The worst thing about driving is how other people can ruin your life. Sometimes you’re minding your own business singing along to your favorite song and refreshing twitter ever 30 seconds and next thing you know you get smashed into and cool, now you have to deal with fixing your car and talking to claims adjusters. Nobody has time for that shit. So yea, when you’re out there playing by the rules and then some car cuts you off, you’re going to go morph into the incredible hulk on roids. Realistically, what else are you going to do besides shoot at the car and let him know you won’t be walked over. You won’t stand for being cut off like that. Playing real life Grand Theft Auto would be a great way for people to learn the rules of the road. And hey, even if by all accounts motorcycle bro was in the wrong, if he didn’t feel like he was in the wrong, was he really in the wrong? Riddle me that.
