Kneejerk Reactions To Belichick and Brady's Press Conferences Today
What a day. The entire country, the entire western world all glued to their TV’s waiting to see our every move. Israel and Palestine calling a cease fire to make sure they watched the press conferences. The entire civilized world waiting with bated breath to see what the Patriots will do next. Did we deflate footballs or not? A blood thirsty media clamoring to finally bring the Roman Empire to their knees. Homeless plagiarists like Ron Borgers climbing out from whatever rock they were hiding under to try and take a shot at the crown. And what happened? Belichick and Brady won the day. They did what leaders of men do. They answered every single question head on. They looked everybody in the eye and said “We don’t know what you’re talking about. We have no knowledge of anybody deflating footballs.” And poof just like that they squashed it. If they said they didn’t do it than who are you or I to say any differently? They’ve never lied before so why would they lie now? This is nothing but a gigantic witchhunt.
In fact I’m beginning to think the footballs weren’t even deflated at all. This is just jealous vanquished opponents crying over spilled milk. But for the sake of argument lets say the balls were deflated. I think the #1 suspect would actually be the Colts themselves. They knew they couldn’t beat us on the field so they resorted to this type of chicanery to try and make us look bad. Just strange that the refs couldn’t tell something was wrong but the Colts could. Strange that when the good balls came into play we outscored them 100-0. I’m not saying the Colts 100% did it, but I honestly think it’s the most plausible explanation. Because we know this. Belichick didn’t do it. Brady didn’t do it. I doubt the ball boys would do it on their own. So either nobody did it or the Colts did it. Now will that stop the media from attacking us? Will that stop reporters from asking Tom Brady what he’ll tell little kids who consider him their hero? Will it stop Ron Borges from talking about 7 Foot Jammers? Probably not. But as a Patriots fan we can go to bed knowing we still do things the right way. We still do things The Patriot Way. And the only reason this is a story is because They Hate Us Cause They Ain’t Us.
