Chris Childs Ripped Latrell Sprewell For Being A James Dolan 'Pawn' Because James Dolan Is The Fucking Worst

[Post] - “It was so disrespectful to not only Oak, but to me as well,’’ said Childs, who played for the Knicks from 1996-2001. “Very much so [I was bothered]. Oak and I talked about it. I’m not sure how I would’ve behaved if I was there. I probably would’ve been arrested as well.”

Childs said the Knicks’ fortunes probably won’t change until Dolan sells the team.

“How they treated [Oakley] when they threw him out of the arena affects how I think about management,’’ Childs said. “Until that changes I don’t think anything positive is going to happen until there’s a change at the top.”

This is exactly what I want to hear from Chris Childs. Was he the biggest name or star from the Knicks during the 90s and early 2000s? Nope. But he was a fan favorite because he was exactly what Knicks fans love. Same reason we love guys like Oakley and Mason - they simply don't take shit from anyone. Who else would two piece Kobe (RIP) on the court?

But honestly I want as many former Knicks talking shit like this rather than the cheap payday to sit around James Dolan. I need Patrick Ewing (who never will, especially when he still could be a NBA head coach) really speak up and say how awful Dolan is. Hell, just look at what Clem wrote back when this Sprewell nonsense happened:

It was by far the biggest piece of shit move Sprewell has ever pulled. Nothing else comes to mind or comes to close. Not one thing at all that Sprewell ever did. Remember, Sprewell HATED Dolan. It wasn't a secret, it wasn't just a Knicks rumor or anything like that. Sprewell sounded like all of us when it came to James Dolan.

Just give me every Knick speaking up about this. Call people out for being pawns and cheap plays like this. I don't care anymore. Just force Dolan to ban every fan favorite from MSG. He's the fucking worst. He's turned the Knicks into just the worst franchise out there. They were at least competitive before him. One of my 3 biggest sports wishes and perhaps just wishes in life is to get Dolan out as Knicks owner.
