Am I In A TikTok Off With LeBron James?

Quarantining is a crazy time.

The first few days it has a Christmas break feel to it but by the time you hit one week mark you start to lose it little by little with each day that follows.

All of a sudden I feel like I'm Red from "Shawshank Redemption". These apartment walls...they become a part of you.

But once you've watched an ungodly amount of shows, you don't have the attention span to sit through another movie without dozing off, and you just want to do absolutely anything to avoid an "in-home workout" you do what every 20 something male says they'd never do.

TikTok dances.

Yep, I went there on Saturday night.

It was a fun, friendly way to get the wife and some friends involved. Plus, like I said, what the hell else is there to do in times like these? What's wild is that it actually did pretty well. TikTok people LOOOOVE dances - even if it's the same one that they've seen at least 15 other times on their feed.

Also, notice our group is less than 10 and we're keeping plenty of distance between ourselves in the lines. Playing it safe.

But take note of my challenge to LeBron James

Now, I know that this man would never respond directly to me. He's got 45.6 MILLION followers on Twitter. But it was just my way of trying to poke a little fun at The King.

Where it gets interesting is that less than two hours later, the James family posts the exact same TikTok dance...

Hmmm. Coincidence?

I'm not so sure.

I find it highly unlikely that the James family "just so happened" to "by chance" do the exact same TikTok just over an hour after I posted this challenge to him.

Maybe I'm (probably) giving myself too much credit. We may never know.

But if I do another TikTok dance this week and challenge the King again and THAT gets a response…then just like the words of the great "Nard dog" Andy Bernard himself,  "I'm not so sure, but I'm pretty sure I'm in a dance (TikTok) off".
