Thoughts from Vindog...

You look out your window and the world looks the same, but you know everything's very different. The traffic you used to complain about, is almost nonexistent. Neighbors walking by do so in a hurry, careful to maintain social distancing. The schools are closed, the kids are home, and the school buses remain parked. Main Street, USA has turned into a ghost town. The sounds of spring once heard through open windows, now seem incomplete. You feel like you're home sick because, in a lot of ways, you are. You're in isolation and it's surreal.

Not only is America suffering through COVID-19, the world is. You stay glued to your T.V., but the message is mixed and confusing. You worry that you'll run out of food, medicine, and other essentials. You do not want to leave your house or let anyone in. Along with your health concerns comes fear, and right now that's America's most dominant emotion.

This horrible disease is being politicized at a time when non-partisan diplomacy is needed most. It's not known how far into this Pandemic we are and taking it day-to-day has created an anxious population that wants answers.

The American people are strong and resilient. We will get through this...

Stay healthy my friends!
