We're Looking At A Best Case Scenario Of 3 More Months Without NBA Basketball

I think we all knew deep down that when the NBA announced that the season would be suspended for at least 30 days that there was no way we were actually going to be back in 30 days. In the days since we've seen things get even worse, and now Woj is dropping that we're looking at at least another 3 months from today before we see NBA basketball again. And that's the best case scenario. It's fucking March. We're only in Day 4 and this is getting tough. What will life look at on let's say...day 74? I don't even want to think about it. 

While this news most likely doesn't shock anyone, you look around the world and you could get an idea of what type of timeframe we're working with. But to actually see it in a Woj tweet makes it more real for me. I can't explain why that is, maybe it's because my heart knows Woj wouldn't lie. He doesn't need to tweet shit for RT or internet clout. If he's saying mid June that means someone int he league told him mid June and that brings me nothing but sadness. 

What we don't know is what that return will look like. Is it a situation where we hop right into the playoffs as is? A week or two to get back into the swing of things before the postseason? Maybe shortening the first round or something? Who the hell knows. What we do know is we aren't even close to having NBA basketball back in our lives and I for one am heartbroken.
