I think I’ve mentioned this a few times.  Ever since John Henry bought the Globe he has been on a mission to dumify it.   He’s basically making Boston.com like a poor man’s Buzzfeed.  Some would say he’s making it a poor man’s Barstool.  Same thing with NESN which he also owns.  They’ll cover all the same stories we do and try to be funny with unfunny people.   Just click bait headlines with zero personality.  What’s worse though is the Globe seems to have no problem just cutting and pasting/plagerizing the rest of the internet.    I mean I’m no defender of Buzzfeed.  I think they are the worst thing that has actually happened to the internet ever.     They’ve sparked a rash of crap sites filled with crap writers with crap headlines just to get eyeballs.    But still how does the Globe think they can just copy headlines from one of the biggest websites out there and nobody will notice?    Hey fellas I’m onto your shit.    I see what you’re doing.   At least come up with your own headlines for christ sakes.  Is that too much to ask?   Oh and Boston.com has been using our stuff so much lately that even ESPN got confused and thought they were us.
