BREAKING NEWS: MARC TRESTMAN HAS LOST THE TAMPA BAY VIPER'S LOCKER ROOM 2 GAMES INTO THE XFL SEASON

I will preface that I did exactly ZERO research to see if this quote is true or not (shocker!) but every last Bears fan on the planet will tell you that this tweet is a 100% stone cold fact.  Look, Marc Trestman seems like a really good dude.  Nice guy, good family man, blah blah blah, BUT, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, he is absolutely not a leader of men.  QB coach? Sure. Offensive assistant?  I'll give you that, yeah.  Quality Control guy?  Not really sure what those guys do but if it's just to be an extra set of eyes, yeah, Trestman has been around football enough to know what he's looking at and can probably provide good insight. 

But anytime he's in charge of ANYTHING like... calling plays.  Or telling X player to do Y assignment. Or chewing a motherfucker out for missing an assignment then.... your team is fucked.  Fucked beyond repair.  Sure, he won a Canadian championship IIRC, but that had to be a classic case of blind squirrel/acorn.  Dude just is too nice to tell a bunch of 22-30 year old ego trips what to do. That's not necessarily a bad thing, not in the grand scheme of things at least, but keep him out of any leadership role in football.  It gives Bears fans scaries, and we don't need those heading into baseball season.
