The Astros Should Have Hired Ozzie Guillen To Replace AJ Hinch
Ozzie Guillen was one of my favorite people on the planet prior to getting to know him at all. Dude eats, sleeps and breathes baseball and does all that in a colorful, engaging way. The dude belongs in baseball until the day he dies and it's sad that he's been sort of blackballed from the sport.
Out of 6 employees in the Barstool Chicago office, I'm the only White Sox fan. Naturally I'll gravitate to the guy who was at the helm of the only World Series championship I've ever seen my favorite team win. But guess what? He basically casted a spell over the other 5 guys and had them ready to run through a brick wall too. Dude is just a natural born leader.
Baseball NEEDS him back, especially with the massive image problem it has right now. In fact, if the Astros were smart, they would have hired fucking Ozzie instead of Dusty Baker.
Go listen to the interview, it's truly awesome, and I'm not just saying that to get people to listen. It's a two part episode with 2 straight hours of unabridged, unfiltered Ozzie Guillen, which is just how everyone loves him.
