Janay Rice Says Ray Rice Is "The Best Husband In the World"
Instagram – Ok first off I literally have the best husband in the world, he went above and beyond to make my birthday special. He ended the day with a surprise dinner party with my family & friends. I can’t thank @mrcheffito for the amazing menu, dinner was wonderful!!! Also to @pro_cakes for my Chanel bag birthday cake, it was definitely a cake perfect for me and of course sooo yummy!!!
Alright so I think this is just something getting lost in translation. Just an argument over semantics here. Like, when you say “literally,” do you mean it as in “relatively speaking” or “completely figuratively?” I know thats often confusing. As a matter of fact, I’m pretty sure Webster’s changed the definition this year to reflect how people actually use literally incorrectly so now I really dont know what to think. Literally should mean literally but it usually means figuratively and now the definition says it literally means figurative so I’m all turned around.
Or maybe its the word “best?” Best husband would ordinarily imply loving and caring and supportive and not a face puncher. But maybe “best” to Janay Rice means now I basically hold him hostage for all his money because he fucked up so bad and he continues to buy me shit and cut the checks. If thats what you’re looking for, than Ray Rice is absolutely the “Best.”
Or maybe its “world.” World would imply to me that hes better than every other guy on the planet. Maybe “world” to her just means within the realm of the Ravens. In that sense she can be like “At least he’s not a murderer!” If thats the case then maybe her instagram caption should have read “My husband is relatively speaking the best because he’s really good at paying me off and he’s not a murderer.”
I mean I know battered women deal with these unfortunate incidents in their own way and I guess, maybe, perhaps, possibly, you can move on from an incident like that and get back together. If she forgave him, I guess its none of anybody’s business. But spare me the lovey dovey Instagram pictures. I can barely stomach those from functioning couples. You gotta know that everyone in the world is gonna take one look at that and roll their eyes, throw up in their mouth a little bit, and say its fucking ridiculous how much Ray Rice got away with everything.
