Islanders Atop ESPNs Latest NHL Power Rankings

Looks like the rest of the world is finally taking notice too. The home and home sweep was a statement and anybody that cant see that is an idiot. I know its only November, and I know something as arbitrary as Power Rankings doesn’t mean much. But slowly but surely the rest of the idiots out here are starting to recognize how dangerous the Islanders really are. Halak is the goaltender they BADLY needed the past few seasons. Getting tremendous contributions from the 4th line. Leddy and Johnny Rocket holding it down as the best defensemen on this squad. And they’re finally getting the respect they deserve.

Hate on them all you want because of the Islanders past reputation. Hate on them all you want because you hate me and dont ever want to believe that any team I root for is good. But don’t take a look at the talent on this team and look at the way they’ve been playing and tell me they’re not for real. Then you just sound like an ignorant prick who doesn’t know anything about hockey.
