'We Should Appreciate People While They're Alive.' - Dwight Howard, Saturday Night After LeBron Passed Kobe On The Scoring List

This is one of the more eerie videos I can remember seeing. I know he's talking about LeBron's accomplishment, but the sentiment of the interview is appreciating people while we still can. The night before the day Kobe died, Dwight Howard spent a good portion of his post-game interview talking about appreciating people when they are alive. Honestly, I don't even know what other words that can be said that weren't already said by Coley, Greenie, Keith, Jack, Trysta and everyone else that wrote something about this tragedy. I'll get back to blogging about hoops and talking about the college game tonight or tomorrow, but for today I just want to keep focusing on this. It almost feels wrong in a weird way to truly talk about hoops until the Lakers play tomorrow. Maybe it's just me, but that's where my mindset is.

It's kind of crazy to hear Dwight talk about this too considering his background with Kobe as a teammate and everything after. But he's right. Do a solid and listen/watch the video. Then go and appreciate people, even if it's just for a day.
