Chicago Gave Joel Quenneville The Hero's Welcome He Deserved

Not too many dry eyes in the United Center. Somehow, some way, NBC Chicago didn’t show the actual tribute video on the broadcast, but this was better than that. 22,000 on their feet in the UC and countless millions on their feet at home letting Joel know how much we love him and that we always will. A tribute from the fans was more special that the organization that fired him. There is no question where the loyalty lies in this town when it comes to the Blackhawks and this is a face that knows it

Joel deserves a statue and a banner and I hope to GOD that he passes Scotty Bowman some day for most wins all time because he truly is the greatest. Nobody I’d rather have. He will always be my coach.
