Watch Mark Wahlberg Beat Up Post Malone In the First Trailer For The Boston-Based 'Spenser Confidential'

Here is the synopsis: "Spenser (Mark Wahlberg) — an ex-cop better known for making trouble than solving it — just got out of prison and is leaving Boston for good. But first he gets roped into helping his old boxing coach and mentor, Henry (Alan Arkin), with a promising amateur. That's Hawk (Winston Duke), a brash, no-nonsense MMA fighter convinced he'll be a tougher opponent than Spenser ever was. When two of Spenser’s former colleagues turn up murdered, he recruits Hawk and his foul-mouthed ex-girlfriend, Cissy (Iliza Shlesinger), to help him investigate and bring the culprits to justice. I can't tell if this is going to be complete and total trash or a viable action franchise, but I do know one thing. This trailer has far too much Wahlberg and not nearly enough Winston Duke. I've been watching 5'8 Marky Mark kick people's asses for 2 decades straight now, and I'm more than ready to see the 6'5 280 lbs Duke power bomb a cartel member through the mat. Just grabbing some goon and spinning him around the ring by his ankles. Instead, we get Mark in seemingly 10 different 5v1 scenarios that he will inevitably fight his way out of. WE GET IT. Give us some new blood! Anyway, I hope this end up interesting because they're apparently trying to build a franchise out of it (This is based off a book series). By the way, this also stars Cowboy Cerrone. Remember this?
