The Real Reason The Packers Lost Last Night...
If you blinked last night you might've missed it: Mike Singletary in the goddamn flesh scaring the life out of the Packers offense. No other reasonable explanation for how you're losing 27-0 at halftime of the biggest game of your life/season. The only reasonable conclusion is that the mystique and legacy of the 1985 Bears defense was too overwhelming for Matt LeFlavortown's game planning.
And I know we give a lot of shit to people adult men that wear jerseys, especially to seemingly unrelated teams. But I have news for you. All 37 points scored last night were by former Bears. The QB grew up a Bears fan. Kyle Shannahan's dad went to Eastern Illinois and Leyden High School. There's Chicago juice all over this game with or without my archrival and #1 bitch Aaron Rodgers. Mix in the classic Singletary jersey and I think it only makes sense you'd wear a classic Singletary jersey. I'm surprised there weren't more, especially when you consider his legacy in the Bay.
Viva La Mike Singletary.
Viva Los 85 Bears.
And Fuck Aaron Rodgers.
