Obstruct This!

This team will not take no for an answer.  They just won’t do it.   The easy thing would have been to lay down after what Jim Joyce did to them last night.  I mean they were coming off the screwjob of the century.  Clay Buchholtz couldn’t break 88 on the radar gun.  The Cards jumped out to an early lead.  Everything seemed to be going against them.  But just like they’ve done all season they refused to give an inch.  They refused to take a a step back.  All this team does is battle and battle and battle.  Dustin Pedroia said Jim Joyce would not define this series.  He was right.   This team is too tough.  Too strong.   Too determined.  They’ve found a way all season long and they found a way tonight.   If Jim Joyce and the Cardinals didn’t realize it yet now they know they are in the ring with a junk yard dog.  There comes a time in every fight when you know you can’t win.  Tonight was that night for the Cards.   Sox in 6*

PS –   I’ve given up trying to figure him what John Farrell is doing in this series.  I’ve just decided to buckle in and go with the flow and it’s exhilarating.  I mean holding a guy on first with 2 outs and up 2 runs?   It makes ZERO sense.  Unless you’re gonna pick his ass off course.  Crazy like a fox?  No.  Crazy like a Farrell.
