Officials In Every League Continue To Fuck Over The City Of New Orleans

OK what the hell is going on around here. What did New Orleans do to deserve this treatment? I can understand NFL refs being against them, that comes from Goodell himself so that's not at all surprising. The way the Saints take shots at him publicly, you expect somehow someway he's going to screw them over. You know that going in. But the Pelicans? What did they do to deserve this treatment. They are this innocent rebuilding small market who lost a franchise player but then was gifted a franchise player only to never be able to actually play that savior. They're just trying to turn their season around and go on a little run and yet here they are getting boned. Because make no mistake about it, that is 100% a foul by Rudy Gobert. I don't care if he's a DPOY guy, a foul is a foul and to not give Ingram who is a guy having a breakout year that call at home when it was clearly a foul is some bullshit. They even reviewed it and STILL called it a clean block which is what makes this even worse. Talk about screw job. It's going to be even better when they are forced to admit it in the League Two Minute Report tomorrow. Not that Pelicans fans will care, but I can't wait for the league's spin on that one.

The worst part of all this is the refs didn't just bone the Pelicans on this play at the rim, apparently they refused to give the Pelicans a timeout despite them repeatedly asking for one

So not only did they screw up the actual play, but that play should have never happened in the first place. Woof. I would not want to be an official at any level anywhere in New Orleans or the surrounding towns. Not after the fine people of NO have had to endure the Saints game and now this Pelicans game back to back in a mere 48 hours. That's enough to make any fanbase crave blood.
