Lane Kiffin Makes Controversial Hire Of DJ Durkin

Here's the thing, Lane Kiffin doesn't give a shit. He doesn't care what you're going to say about his hire, for better or for worse. He did this at FAU with Kendall Briles. Now, he is doing the same with DJ Durkin, who last coached at Maryland before the tragic death of Jordan McNair. 

Durkin was pretty much "canceled" by the media football community, but as we know, the football coaching community is the ultimate fraternity that you can get away with pretty much anything in and still retain a job. You may need to take a few years off, but you'll be back because there is always a Lane Kiffin out there looking for a low cost, high risk (& high return) hire.
