DID YOU KNOW: The Anaheim Angels Originally PASSED On Drafting Mike Trout?

Just a little oral history for ya.  JARED FUCKING MITCHELL.  What the fuck fam.  Never even sniffed getting the call to The Show.  All good though – there were busts on busts on busts in this draft, which isn’t too different from other drafts.  I just always find it funny that people bitch and moan about the Sox drafting Mitchell over draft… when the Angels didn’t even take Mike Trout with their first overall pick.  Just a little fun fact for yous.
