Christ who is cutting onions in my house right now. I don't think it's possible to be a living, breathing human and not love Ernie Johnson. The fact that he's been at the helm of the best sports show on TV for essentially my entire life seems crazy. I think we're all in agreement that when it comes to Ernie Johnson we're all Shaq
so this was a pretty cool move by TNT and it was pretty clear how genuine everyone was with their love for this true legend. You look at the replies to that tweet and you get a good idea just how much the world loves this man. I honestly can't think of another media personality that is more beloved and it's absolutely warranted.
So what better way to pay our respects to this living legend than to kill a shit ton of time at work to watch the best moments this group has had together over the last 30 years. A fantastic idea I know. I hope this show never goes off the air because there truly isn't anything like it and Ernie has a lot to do with that. If you didn't stay up way past your bedtime as a kid to watch this show after the West Coast game then I don't even want to know you.
Best host in the business. Best show in the business. Here's to another 30 years.
