Nate Diaz Peaces Out On The Fight Game Yet Again, Says He's Going On Tour

You know, the more and more time that goes by in Nate Diaz's career, the more it has clicked for me: he's a weather system. Some kinda fucked up hurricane - just like The Joker, as a character! He comes in, wrecks shop, causes chaos, everyone loves it, and then, before ya know it...he's gone. We have no idea when he'll be back, or why he came or went in the first place, but we'll certainly be paying attention if and when it comes time to happen again.

It seems now is the time for Nate to go away for a bit, based on his Instagram post last night, and while that sucks, I don't think there's anything you or I could say to change his mind. He feels slighted because it doesn't seem like this Jorge Masvidal rematch is gonna happen immediately, and historically doesn't really take losses well, but hey - that's Nate Diaz.

Nate's done this before, he'll do it again, and I don't really blame him. I'm echoing Ariel Helwani and many others here, but some time off is probably sort've a blessing in disguise here. Allow that scar tissue to fully heal (which was the issue in the first place) and let everyone forget that you were getting your ass whooped before the doctor stepped in. When he returns for an eventual rematch or McGregor fight, the full allure of Nate Diaz will still be there.
