Hot Mic Video Of ABC Anchor Amy Robach Saying ABC Quashed Her Jeffrey Epstein Story 3 Years Ago Goes Viral

THE DAILY BEAST — ABC News anchor Amy Robach was caught on camera slamming her own network for allegedly sitting on the Jeffrey Epstein story three years ago. In a video clip released by right-wing group Project Veritas on Tuesday, Robach is seemingly caught on a hot mic complaining to colleagues that her Epstein story was suppressed by network executives. Robach says she’d spoken to Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who alleges Epstein used her as a sex slave and trafficked her to his powerful friends, including Britain’s Prince Andrew. “I’ve had this interview with Virginia Roberts .. we would not put it on the air,” Robach says on camera.

You can draw your own conclusions about the source after a 5 minute Google search of James O'Keefe and Project Veritas, but it's not like the video is fake — ABC and Robach herself have already acknowledged that and issued statements about it.

 It is, unsurprisingly, the most viral thing on social media right now. "#EpsteinCoverup" and "#EpsteinDidntKillHimself" are just straight up viral wildfire hashtags. 

I guess I'm just surprised that ABC allegedly killed a story about a dangerous pedophile that the public deserved to know about because they feared the consequences and/or wanted to protect people in power? About as surprised as I was that NBC allegedly killed all those Weinstein stories? Especially after I was lectured so strongly by NBC about how disgustingly immoral Barstool is. Kind of starting to think there's a little bit of hypocrisy out there in the media world...

But I digress. I wish Robach would have stood her ground here instead of getting bullied into apologizing. She seems like a badass — a badass who "freaking had" a great story 3 years ago that seems, to an idiot like me at least, like it should have been green-lit.
