THE KNOCKOUTS HAVE STARTED AT UFC 244

BOOOOOOOM!

Didn’t take long for the knockouts to start here at Madison Square Garden. Undefeated heavyweight Jairzinho Rozenstruik just put Andrei Arlovski’s lights out before I even realized Andrei Arlovski was fighting tonight…

Rozenstruik stuck the former champ with a fade-away left similar to the one Stipe Miocic won his first UFC Championship with, and referee Dan Miragliotta stepped in immediately with a perfect stoppage. Speaking of Dan Miragliotta, I feel like now would be a good time to tell you that I watched his bag during that fight. He placed it beside me, said “I’ve got the next fight, can you watch this?”, and I did. Watched it like a fucking champion. Afterwards, when he came back for it, I hit Big Dan with a “great stoppage”, we got to talking a little MMA, and he gave me a water bottle when he realized I didn’t have one. Great guy. Big fan.

At this point, I think it’s ABSOLUTELY time for Arlovski to retire. Can’t have the chin of a rock ‘em sock ‘em robot and expect to compete at this level anymore.

P.S. Our girl Katlyn Chookagian picked up an AWESOME victory just prior to this fight, where her striking looked as crisp as ever. Give this killer a title shot!!!
