Great Move By FC Barcelona To Already Start Tampering Their Dicks Off In An Effort To One Day Land Kevin Durant

I love this move by FC Barcelona. Everyone knows all the power moves in the NBA happen as a direct result of tampering, so the second you hear a sound bite that Kevin Durant dreams of maybe one day playing for your basketball team you do everything you can to make that a reality. You have to shoot your shot in a situation like this every single time. I'm not sure what the tampering rules are with other leagues and NBA players but I doubt there are any. What's Adam Silver going to do about it, fine FC Barcelona? I don't think so. You never know, Durant may have had that dream and then seeing his number on their jersey might be the thing that makes it actually happen. We're talking about 3 years down the line anyway but why not start planting the seed early. Who knows maybe Durant ends up hating Kyrie and turns down his player option in 2022. Barcelona is a dope city too, and even as a guy in his late 30s I'm pretty sure Durant would tear that league up.

Did you know there is no salary cap in Europe? His player option is for $42M, you don't think FC Barcelona can come up with that sort of cash? Bringing in someone like Durant would essentially pay for itself, no matter what shape he's in by that time. That might be a slight bump from the $5.4M a year that Mirotic just got which is the highest annual salary in the entire Euroleague, but this is Kevin Durant we're talking about here.

While I doubt it happens, Durant seems like the kind of guy that could ultimately make a move like this. He's already one of the greatest players in the history of the NBA, why not take your "retirement" overseas and live in a sweet ass city while everyone treats you like a God. Not a bad life if you ask me. You think they give a shit that he took the easy way to rings with GS? No chance. Maybe he could be the guy that finally gets FC Barcelona back to the top of the mountain, something they haven't really done in the Euroleague since 2009.

Either way, a no brainer move here by FC Barcelona and I wish them the best of luck.
