There Is Good News - The Mystics Won Game 1 Of The WNBA Finals #OurYear

It’s not all doom and gloom in DC, folks. Yes the Redskins are the worst and everything with them is awful, but at least we have the Mystics in the WNBA Finals, and not just that, but they won game 1 yesterday! It was a complete team effort with 5 players scoring in double figures, led of course by the MVP Elena Delle Donne who went for 22/10/5. Ariel Atkins added 21 of her own including 3/4 from downtown and Kristi Tolliver had 18 of her own.

It was a high scoring matchup, and the Sun didn’t go down easy. Courtney Williams did everything she could, piling up 26 points including 6/9 from 3, but it just wasn’t enough to get by our Mystics.

Game 2 is tomorrow in DC at 8pm. It’s a best of 5, so going up 2-0 would be huge as we look for our first WNBA championship. And I gotta tell ya, I feel really good about our chances. #MysticsYear
