Movie Trailer Roundup - Sept 20th. There Is A Logan Paul Movie!
1. Knives Out (Trailer #2)
Full blog here.
2. Dark Waters
I had no idea about this story whatsoever, and I couldn’t even find anything about it on the DuPont Chemical wiki. Well, I hope KB came away unaffected. This stars Mark Ruffalo (Avengers) Anne Hathaway (The Dark Knight Rises), William Jackson Harper (The Good Place), Bill Pullman (Independence Day), Tim Robbins (The Shawshank Redemption) and Bill Camp (The Night of). Todd Haynes (Carol) directed.
3. In The Tall Grass
I think Stephen King could take a dump on a piece of paper and hollywood would make a movie about it. However, Max Kellerman, I will watch anything with my king Patrick Wilson in it. Vincenzo Natali (Spice) directed and adapted the script.
4. Ford V Ferrari (Trailer #2)
Fuck yes. I don’t know much anything at all about this story, which makes me all the more excited to see it. It stars Christian Bale (The Dark Knight), Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting), Caitriona Balfe (Outlander), Jon Bernthal (The Punisher), Ray McKinnon (Deadwood) and Josh Lucas (A Beautiful Mind). James Mangold (Logan, Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma) is directing and co-wrote the script with Jez and John-Henry Butterworth (Edge of Tomorrow) as well as Jason Keller (Escape Plan).
5. Fractured
Hospitals freak me the fuck out, and gaslighting themed stuff in this setting has me all buttered up. I’m sneaky a big fan of Sam Worthington too, so I’m happy to see him getting some work. Brad Anderson (The Machinist) directed off a Alan B. McElroy (The Marine) script.
6. Ordinary Love
I love Liam Neeson and Lesley Manville, and focus features really knows how to draw you in with some sad-ass music. Lisa Barros D’Sa and Glenn Leyburn co-directed this.
7. Danger Close
I’m always down to see some better representation of other countries in global conflicts. I didn’t even know Australia was involved like that in Vietnam. This stars Travis Fimmel (Vikings) and Nicholas Hamilton (It) and is directed by Kriv Stenders (Red Dog).
8. The Rhythm Section
Blake Lively can do a British accent??? I’m in! Maybe, and I’m just spitballing here, don’t show the entire plot for the movie in the first trailer. This stars Lively (A Simple Favor), Jude Law (Gattaca), and Sterling K. Brown (This is Us). Reed Morano (The Handmaid’s Tale) directed.

9. In the Shadow of the Moon
I don’t think I quite vibe with the idea that a cloning/time travel conspiracy could be based out if Philly. This stars Boyd Holbrook (Narcos), Cleopatra Coleman (Step Up: Revolution) and Michael C. Hall (Dexter). Jim Mickle (Stake Land) directed.
10. Airplane Mode
We had to end on this, sorry. I think I’m going to have to do a whole separate blog on it as well.
