But here I am writing it. Good fucking god what a massive failure of a game starting with ageless wonder Ben Zobrist airmailing his 2nd ball in as many nights into left field on a tailor made double play

Life doesn’t get easier than Major League double plays yet we figured out a way to turn that into a fucking 5 spot for the Padres. Great. In the process we basically eliminate Jason Heyward’s 2-run oppo bomb, which is a goddamn anomaly for that hot bag of shit last 6 weeks

I acknowledge that I’m starting to get mean but you have to understand that the Cubs are closer to the Mets than they are the Cardinals and literally KFC wrote a fucking hit piece on life earlier today that basically started and ended with how much the Mets fucking suck.

But here we are talking about the Mets and Cubs in a race which says a whole lot more about the Cubs than anything else. And personally I can’t help but feel a sense of karma for the Cubs being such blind dicks to the internet this season. Treating fans like a bunch of savages while raising the price to everything and expecting us to treat the place like a fucking country club because some rich boners always wanted it that way.

Newsflash guys: it’s an ugly game and you’re not playing it.

Farm system. Sucks.

Free agents. Suck.

Draft picks. Suck.

Contracts. Suck.

Everything sucks so bad right now that the only thing I can do to forget is watch decent, honest, clean baseball and heaven fucking forbid that ever showed up.

And when it does heaven fucking forbid we don’t squander it on AWFUL bullpen usage from Joe and even worse command from Cishek, the veteran Somebody who isn’t supposed to shit his pants in such a pivotal moment.

But he did and the Cubs lost to the godforsaken Padres in a fashion only a 2019 Cubs fan could dream of.

But again, tell me how this squad is just as good if not better than anybody else.

I haven’t heard that one in a while and could use a big laugh.
