Colts Lose Their Season Opener For The 6th Year In A Row

That’s right. The Colts just lost to the Chargers 30-24 in OT and have now lost their season opener 6 years in a row. The Colts haven’t won a season opener since 2009 when they beat the Jags 14-12. This game was too good to be true. It started out with a quick 3 and out and look promising!

Then it turned into the special teams shooting themselves in their feet, the defense being unable to cover anything, and the Chargers gliding down the field in OT to seal the deal.

The special teams left 7 points off the board! Vinny missed 2 field goals and an extra point. I blame the wind for this. Not to mention Denico Autry being flagged for running into the long snapper during the Chargers field goal attempt which lead to 7 free points for them. I want to say how fucking dum that rule is. I can understand not being able to jumper over the long snapper, but you can’t bull rush bump him!? They have shoulder pads and helmets like everyone else on the field! It’s fucking football.

Jacoby look great out there. 21/27, 190 yards and 2 TD’s. Wouldn’t mind a W next to that but that wasn’t his fault. Marlon Mack Attack put up 174 yards and this 63 yarder to the house!

T.Y had a good day with 87 yards and 2 TD’s

What I didn’t understand was Eric Lebron without the L’s day. He only had 1 touch. Sure, he dropped a ball in the endzone but it seemed like he was barley used at all. I hope that changes right quick next week/

Now for the defense. They did not look great. Besides Malik’s one hand snag and a few sacks, we couldn’t cover anything! Rivers had a field day and lit our ass up with 333 yards! Austin Ekeler torched us too, nobody could wrap his ass up! Kemoko Turay looked really good though with 2 strip (1 overturned by a flag).

Overall, I’m very proud of the Colts putting up 15 unanswered to come back. It could’ve been a blowout, but the Colts did not give up. Titans are up next week which is the first divisional game. They whooped the Browns ass today but is that saying much? The Browns will always be the Browns, don’t forget that. God speed and Go Horse.
