This is quite possibly Star Wars fans’ most longstanding request from Lucasfilm/Disney, and honestly, every Star Wars fan I know has wanted this ever since Lucas sold the company in 2012…so people went fucking NUTS – as expected.</p><p>Ewan has always been the shining star of the prequels and embraced his role in them tremendously, so getting to see this beautiful payoff – where he got to announce he’ll be returning to the franchise to thunderous, deafening applause and cheering – just pumped me the fuck up. Oh, and the prospect of him getting a shot at Obi-Wan without horrible George Lucas dialogue? I’m gonna pass out.
