Six People Arrested In The Connecticut Woods For Having Sex Including A Couple In Their 80s

(Source)–Police arrested six people — including a pair of people in their 80s — last week after getting reports of “lewd and sexual activity” in the Grace Richardson Open Space area at the intersection of Congress Street and Morehouse Highway.

According to police, the department received several complaints of inappropriate behavior during the week of Aug. 12. The Grace Richardson parcel is 87-acre piece of land that was part of a major acquisition by the town from the H. Smith Richardson family in 1966. The rest became the H. Smith Richardson Golf Course and the Hoyden’s Hill Open Space

Several violations were observed, and the following arrests were made: Daniel Dobbins, 67, charged with breach of peace and public indecency; Otto D. Williams, 62, charged with breach of peace; Charles L. Ardito, 75, charged with breach of peace; John Linartz, 62, charged with breach of peace and public indecency; Richard Butler, 82, breach of peace; Joyce Butler, 85, breach of peace.

An internet search revealed that the park has been advertised as a meet-up spot for this kind of activity, along with other Fairfield locations, including the Jefferson Street Commuter Lot and McDonald’s at the Interstate-95 Service Plaza. Police are continuing to monitor these locations and internet advertising.

Let me start by saying

Remember when your parents and grandparents first started getting on the internet and social media? Your biggest fear was that they’d see the pictures you’d post on facebook from the weekend that were appropriate for your friends and peers, but were probably overall inappropriate for the general public. Grandparents sending you that friend request meant that people had to stop publicly being a drunken whore on the internet. Can’t have your nana seeing your slutty halloween costume or the beers you were shotgunning. That was your biggest fear of having your grandparents on the internet though. Not a bad thing. Arguably a good thing. A little shame never hurt anyone.

Now though…now that’s not your biggest fear at all. Your biggest fear is that your grandparents will be trying to decide what do to on a saturday and they’ll say “honey, do you want to go to the bingo game or that orgy in the woods we read about on the computer?” and they’ll choose the orgy in the woods. They have flipped the game on it’s head. In a matter of a decade we went from worrying about them reading about your slutty behavior to being scared that we might stumble across their behavior on a local police report. Absolutely disgusting.

PS: You can’t charge these old people for a crime here. They’re almost dead. Let them pop a viagra and bang it out in the woods if they want. They’re not hurting anyone.

PPS: You ever think about how it’s a miracle that anyone is alive ever? Sex in the forest on the dirt is like the ONLY way the Earth was populated. I can’t imagine having sex without air conditioning.
