1917 Is A New World War 1 Movie And It Looks Absolutely Spellbinding (First Time I've Ever Used "Spellbinding In A Title So I Mean It)

World War 1 shit is hard to watch. I can barely stomach it. The war was such an incredibly violent war but has somehow fallen out of the American mind because history only pays attention to World War 2. We never really hear about Korea or World War 1. Trench warfare was a nightmare and this movie seems like it’s going to focus on that.

Based on the trailer, there’s no feel-good aspect of this movie, either. It’s raw, horrifying, and intense. There’s no chance I dont cry in the theatre. I rarely get excited for movies but I’m pumped for this one.
