You Are Both A Moron And A Fool If You Don't Think This Carsen Edwards News Matters

We all remember the absolute show Carsen Edwards put on in Vegas right? Not only was he the proud winner of my final Summer League Crush rose

but he finished with the second most 3PM in Vegas while shooting 46% and was like second or third in total points scored. The man was a monster and this isn’t just my blind homerism talking, there is video evidence to support my claim

Now maybe it’s just me, but all throughout the Celtics rather dominant performance in Vegas when it came to Carsen Edwards I kept having this same thought enter my brain every time I watched him play

Ah yes, 2016 Isaiah? One of the most efficient and dominant offensive seasons by a point guard in NBA history. Again that’s not hyperbole, those are simply the facts. The man averaged 28.9 a game with a 62.5 true shooting percentage. Rare as hell. Well watching the way Carsen Edwards was scoring the ball it honestly felt like we were watching 2016 Isaiah level dominance. Now you may be asking yourself what the fuck am I talking about and why is this even important? Well….

would you look at that. Seems to me like the universe is trying to tell us something with Carsen Edwards rocking Isaiah’s old number. Coincidence? Maybe, but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t believe this is huge news. As someone who is going to have a legit opportunity to be a super sub off the bench I can’t think of a better number for Edwards to rock. I’m a big karma guy and we hadn’t seen anyone rock #4 since Isaiah was ripped from our lives for that other dickhead point guard. To me this says that Danny Ainge is leaving no stone unturned in his effort to change the karma of this team post Isaiah trade. You have to admit it does seem like there was some weird voodoo shit going on with this team since that move. Hayward’s injury, Kyrie getting hurt before the playoffs, the team underachieving, Kyrie and Al leaving, something had to be done and this may just be the thing that finally turns things around. Well this and the need to DRASTICALLY change the intro video but that’s a different story for a different blog.

Maybe you’re like me and were already expecting Carsen Edwards to step right in on that second unit and make an offensive impact, but after this news and seeing that he’s going from 29 to 4 and fully embracing the Isaiah Thomas lifestyle, I think it’s only fair to accept the reality that Carsen Edwards is going to absolutely dominate people.
