Not to go crazy at every move Theo makes but how can you not love this trade? I like Luis Valbuena but everyone knew he needed to be moved. The infield is way too crowded as is and Kris Bryant will hopefully be on the opening day roster at third base. So what does Dexter Fowler provide? How about .376 OBP a decent glove and a ton of speed. If you’ve listened to the front office they have stressed the need for another OBP guy. The hitters are there, the place setters were needed, the guys that can get on base every day, and that is exactly what Dexter Fowler is. He’s going to be top 10 in the league in runs scored this season, just you watch.
