Yeah Tim Tebow Struck Out Against A Position Player Last Night. Big Whoop, You Wanna Fight About It?

So this video did decent numbers last night as all the lazy people of the internet made jokes from their couches about Tim Tebow not being as good at Minor League Baseball as we was at Minor League Football. But I think this video may have been one of Tim’s finest moments on the diamond (no, that’s not a joke about his nightmarish slump so far this year).

You see what the hyenas and jackals taking pot shots failed to notice is that the reason there was a position player pitching to Tim is because the Syracuse Mets were lambasting the Buffalo Bisons 15-2 in the 9th when that at bat took place. Tim clearly has read understands the unwritten rules of baseball and knows that trying to embarrass some poor sacrificial lamb thrown to the mound on mop up duty of a blow out is wrong. Tim also understands has read a little book called The Bible a few times and knows the passage that says “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” That’s in The Gospel of Matthew, which sources tell me is God’s favorite book.

Now most people would have looked at a helpless position player on the mound as a chance to fatten up their stats. But you know who wouldn’t have? Jesus Christ. That’s right, God’s first son would have kept the lumber on his shoulder and not complained about that third strike clearly being a ball because of the unwritten rules of baseball as well as the written rules of the bibles. Mercy 101 right there. And in case Tebow emulating his Lord and savior wasn’t enough, he also gave the ump a quick piece of his mind so it didn’t look like he was mailing in his AB to a pitcher that probably called everyone he knew after striking out sports legend Tim Tebow the minute he hit the locker room. If you have a problem with Timothy Richard Tebow, The Bible, and/or baseball, you soul is already trash. Don’t worry though, I’m sure Tim will pray for your soul because that’s the kind of guy he is. Athlete, hero, and inspirational leader.

P.S. I apologize for this blog going out roughly 8 hours since I started writing it, but my 1-year-old was home sick today and I was in charge of keeping him alive all by myself, which not to brag I succeeded at.
