Josh Norman Said The Redskins Need To Protect Dave Gettleman At All Costs In New York And Put Him On Salary Because He's Been Helping Out The Skins Out So Much

Well in case Giants fans needed any further reason to hope and pray that Daniel Jones becomes a franchise quarterback over the next few years while Dwayne Haskins does not and it’s proven that Dave Gettleman actually knows what the fuck he’s been doing, they can now add hoping to make Josh Norman look like a fool to the list since Odell Beckham is no longer in town to do that. I’m not surprised that Josh Norman said that considering he tweeted pretty much the same exact thing after the Redskins gave the bag to Landon Collins after Gettleman didn’t want to use a franchise tag on him.

Now I may not love Dave Gettleman because he has taken years off my life and countless other Giants fans’ lives from the roster moves he has made over the last couple of seasons that don’t seem to follow any specific plan. And Josh Norman has been talking shit about the Giants since him and Odell had that matchup back in 2015 that reportedly included bats, threats, and stepovers.

But it’s not like Norman woke up looking to have this quote on every sports blog in the country. He got there with some decent prodding by Rich Eisen, who pretty much drew the dots for Norman then gave him a pencil and helped him connect them.

Oh look at everyone having a grand old time laughing at the franchise being held by a GM that may be out of his fucking mind or may be Keyser Soze, with a QB from Duke developing into a productive player being the key to which answer is correct. I know this is pretty much impossible to do considering I am just a Barstool blogger and Rich Eisen is the face of the NFL Network. But I am officially banning Daniel Jones from any Rich Eisen interviews if when he becomes a Pro Bowl quarterback. If Eisen wants to talk to the man that will become Mothafucka Jones and lead us back to the promised land, he will have to bend the knee and apologize for turning his show into a Giants roast in the name of getting a quote.

Is there a chance that never happens because Gettleman and Jones are thinking about life after football in a couple years while Norman, Collins, and Haskins make the playoffs? Definitely. But us Giants fans can’t think like that. We have to believe that Daniel Jones will be the Prince That Was Promised, the things that caused Dwayne Haskins to drop to 15 stop him from becoming a good quarterback, the Collins contract will look like most Redskins contracts look after the first season, and Norman will continue to end up catching an L like he usually does while taking up a whole bunch of the Redskins salary cap during their next 7-9 win season.
