I was going to include all of this in today’s Good, Bad, Ugly recap of that stampede in South Philly last night, but I think Connor Barwin deserves to be recognized on his own. 10.5 sacks this season (only Justin Houston of KC has more in the NFL with 12). 3.5 last night (4.5 in the last two games) to go with 8 tackles and a shit load of pressure on the QB. Not to mention he’s one hell of a leader on and off the field. We knew we were getting an improvement at LB when we picked this legitimate hipster dufus from Houston, but good gravy. Screw the Pro Bowl, Barwin has a legitimate shot at Defensive Player Of The Year.
