Is There Anything In The World Better Than When A Guy Drops The Gloves Who Is Mic'd Up?

I have been an advocate of putting mics on NHL players for years. If we can’t get them at the NHL level, can we at least start putting mics on fighters in low level professional leagues? The video above is from the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey, which is a low-level professional league based in the Canadian province of Quebec and is between Jon “Nasty” Mirasty and Jacques Dube.

I think the people don’t understand about hockey fights is the mutual respect between the two of the guys. The two wait to throw any punches until Mirasty yells “GO!”. Just two absolute unit’s beating eachothers faces in that’ll probably get beers with each other after the game.

Nasty Mirasty is a scary dude. Buddy just starts screaming as loud as he can during the fight basically asking to be punched. Biz has fought this dude before, a few times, and all I can say is it would have been some of the best content the hockey world has ever seen if these two had mics on.
