If You Think The Office Is Leaving Netflix Before 2021, You're A Bigger Idiot Than Toby Flenderson

There was a nasty rumor going around that the Office was going to leave Netflix. Put simply, that’s just untrue. In fact, I’ve been in contact with people who tell me more information.

A Netflix spokesperson told me, and I’m quoting here, “The Office will be on Netflix until 2021 — at least!”

Needless to say, I was floored when I saw the comments.

In the original piece that started the rumors, the unnamed Barstool Sports employee wrote:

I didn’t say boo when they raised the prices again and again and again. I havent said anything when the focus went from securing big movie rights and television series to original programming. All that was fine and good because at the end of the day when I hung my hat after a long day at the blogging factory, I could fall asleep to the sounds of my favorite Scanton employees and Ryan. That’s all I ask for. That’s all I want.

How can one man be so stupid? In regards to original programming, the Netflix person I spoke with said, “if you look at most watched titles, Netflix originals accounted for 10 out of 10 in the last quarter, or 21 out of the top 25.”

In summary, The Office isnt going anywhere unless it’s to your TV every single night fire your Amazon 4k Firestick with voice-activated Alexa remote.
