REPORT: There's A "90% Chance" The Eagles Will Draft Hollywood Brown If He Falls To Pick 25
BGN – The Hollywood hype has really caught on here late in the draft process. Daniel Jeremiah, Peter King, Mel Kiper, and Matt Miller all notably have the Eagles taking Brown in their final mock drafts. And now you have Solak hearing there’s a “90%” chance he’s the pick. Of course, it’s possible Brown won’t make it to No. 25. A number of mocks have him going off the board to the Titans at No. 19. Then there’s the Ravens to worry about at No. 22, as Solak mentions here.
Interesting. Very interesting. First off, Hollywood is a name that is pimp on top of fresh divided by pimp. Could always use a guy nicknamed Hollywood in your corner. But will the Eagles actually go sexy with their 25th pick tonight? I don’t hate it. They beefed up the DL with Timmy J coming back, which is GREAT. I suppose their OL could use some depth, another RB could be warranted, and for some reason there is only one certified MLB on the roster by the name of LJ Fort (even though Nigel Bradham would most likely switch over for most packages, if not fulltime). But I don’t hate it. If Hollywood is the best player available at the time, grab him. If they end up trading The Nigerian Nitrous to move up to get Brown (or anyone else), then the selection really, really better be worth it. But at 25? Heck yes. Regardless, I don’t necessarily hate drafting any WR who is a direct relative with Antonio Brown. Tis’ not a family. Tis a remorseless genetic machine.
In Howie (really Joe Douglas) We Trust. Rone and I talked about the draft and some other stuff on this week’s non-Barstool regulated Philly podcast, First Time Long Time. Take a gander. And maybe a listen, too.
