Pirates SS Cole Tucker Homers in His MLB Debut - His Father Goes Nuts Screaming "Are You Fucking Kidding Me?"

Today one of the Pirates top prospects, Cole Tucker, made his major league debut. He’s a former first round pick who is finally getting his chance with Erik Gonzalez and Starling Marte sidelined from their collision last night. In the 5th inning with the game tied at 1, Tucker crushed a fastball 431 feet over the center field wall for his first big league hit. Casual. His parents were in the crowd and his father, Jackie, went nuts, clearly screaming “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?” I mean that’s so awesome. Imagine being a father seeing your kid make his MLB debut and then watching him hit a go ahead two run bomb in that game? I’d lose my mind. Probably rip my shirt off, start high fiving every person in the stadium, and scream every curse word possible. Pretty wild 24 hours for the Tuckers. They found out at midnight he was getting called up. Flash forward now and he’s already a legend.

Cole like a genuinely good dude too who’s just like one of us getting called up to the bigs and having no idea what’s going on. The Pirates could use a new phenom these days, Cole Tucker might very well be on his way.

P.S. Blogging this is how I’m currently coping with the loss of Aaron Judge and it’s still not working, I’m miserable. I even wrote Cole Tucker was an outfielder originally because I can’t get Judge out of my head.
