Broken jaw, schmoken jaw. I thought this was hockey? I thought this was the playoffs? I thought these guys were supposed to be tough? Although considering the Islanders seem to fire pucks at his face on the regular, I probably would be too scared to lace up too. Anyway, as much as I would have liked to beat the Penguins in this series fair and square at full strength, I’m excited for John Tavares to have the opportunity to shine in his coming out party tonight. He’ll be the best player on the ice and the world is about to understand why the Islanders are the team of the future. JT lights the lamp twice, Isles win 3-2 as Sidney Crosby watches at home with Derrick Rose in the Scaredy Cat Corner. The Bandwagon is about to roll right through that fuckin dump of a city Pittsburgh.
