Indiana Man Is Suing His Parents For Throwing Out His 12 Boxes Of Porn

(Source)–An Indiana man moved into his parents’ home in Grand Haven, Mich., in 2016 after getting divorced. Ten months later he got his own place in Muncie, Indiana, but when his parents brought him his things, something was missing: 12 boxes of porn, which his father told him had been destroyed. And now the 40-year-old man is suing. FOX 17 reports the man valued the collection at $28,940.72 in a police report filed with the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office. The Ottawa County prosecutor opted not to press charges, so the man filed a civil suit seeking $86,822.16 in damages. WILX notes that because it’s a civil case involving no criminal charges, parties’ names aren’t being disclosed.

I am sure everyone is thinking the same thing here. Like, buddy…there’s an infinite amount of porn on the internet. You don’t need those DVDs, or a VCR or even a TV. The world is your oyster and you could sit at your computer until the end of your days and never watch the same porn clip twice. There’s no need to seek damages and go through all the pains involved with suing your own parents.

Then…because it’s Easter week I thought of the Lord. Judge not lest ye be judged. Who am I to say what is valuable to someone else. This guy lost everything. Lost his wife. Lost his home. He lives in fucking Muncie, Indiana. He is trying to pick up the pieces and move on with his life. All this guy wants in the world is some comfort and familiarity. For you that might be some home cooking, an old sweatshirt, a vinyl collection…for this guy it might be $86k worth of porn. A greatest hits. Stuff you can’t always find on the internet. How is this guy supposed to come across something he loves like “Pirates 2: Stagnetus Revenge XXX”
