Joe Pavelski Scoring A Goal Off His Face Means The Playoffs Have Officially Begun

If the Blue Jackets upsetting the Lightning didn’t get you going  then Joe Pavelski scoring a goal off his face will. The playoffs have been underway for just a few hours and we already have a huge upset, a goal scored off a chin, and a crazy white out. It’s safe to say these playoffs are going to be a blast.

Pavelski scored the first of the game in the first period against the Golden Knights to give the Sharks a 1-0 lead and actually had to leave the game but in true hockey player form, Pavelski returned wearing a full shield.

The guy probably has a chipped bone in his jaw and his missing a couple teeth, yet gives zero fucks and is back on the ice less than a half hour later. I fucking love the playoffs.
