There Is Not A Single Law In Physics Or Life That Can Explain This Soccer Miss
This may come as a shock to the majority of you, but I didn’t major in physics in college. Pretty much did the complete opposite. With that being said, I think I’ve been alive long enough to realize how things on this world typically work. I understand there are certainly some phenomenons which I’ll never be able to fully wrap my head around. But for the majority of basic things in life, I know that there are certain laws of physics which explain why certain things happen. And let me say this right now–there is absolutely nothing in the world which can explain this miss right here.
The only reasonable explanation here is that Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is involved in a little point-shaving mess around. Literally all he had to do was not touch the ball at all, and it ends up in the back of the net. He could have just laid down and took a nap right there in the middle of the pitch, and it would have been a better play than this one. But what’s even more impressive here is that I feel like even if he was attempting to keep the ball out of the net here, there would still be a much higher chance of that touch ending up in the back of the net. I mean he needed to hit that ball PERFECTLY for it to not bounce the wrong way. It’s maybe one of the greatest saves in the history of the sport. It just so happens, however, that he pulled it off against himself. So now I’m thinking that it wasn’t point shaving because even if that was his intention, there’s no way he could have pulled it ooff to perfection like he did right here.
So with all of that being said…I think the only true explanation here is aliens. Case closed.
