What does this news mean? Well it means the Wizards no longer have the worst GM in professional sports, that’s for sure. It was a long time coming as Ernie had zero idea how to manage a roster, a payroll, evaluate talent, draft, etc etc etc. Literally anything a GM was supposed to do, Ernie couldn’t do.

Whoever comes in next as GM needs to be given time. Ernie made a mess of this team. We have no cap space, owe Wall a ton of money, need to try to keep Beal, and then still need to fill out a roster. It’s going to be tough. Ernie put this team behind a KBNoSwag-sized 8 ball. But today was a good day to be a Wizards fan.
