Chris Jericho Going Bananas At KISS Last Night Is My Spirit Animal

Tell ya what – this clip makes me so happy. From a guy who experienced this in person, I could honestly say Chris Jericho was this into the show ALL NIGHT. Rocking the fuck out to his favorite band on their final tour, front row…he even caught a drumstick and looked as thrilled about it as any member of the KISS Army would be!

I think he may even beat out Paul Rudd at the Foo Fighters show in February…

As for the show itself through my eyes, I’ll say this: I swore to myself that I wouldn’t pay for a ticket to KISS’ “End of the Road Tour” due to all the hoopla over Paul Stanley lip-syncing, or heavily using backing tracks, and the band telling fans they were deciding to call it quits while they were still on top and performing at their highest level – which felt a tad bit insulting – and then I made the last minute decision to head over to Madison Square Garden last night to see my childhood heroes on stage one last time. I thought about it for a while, and realized, “I don’t care what version of KISS is performing right now – I’m gonna regret not taking this chance to go see ‘em tonight if I don’t go.”

I bought myself a ticket, headed over, and proceed to have the time of my life.

From the insane theatrics KISS is best known for – which are ramped up a ton for the final tour…

…to the chance to see the show up close and personal thanks to an awesome Stoolie who is one of the band’s tour managers…

…I really, really ate my judgmental words I had prior to the show, and couldn’t have felt any better about my decision to go.
