MySpace's DevNest Lost 12 Years Of Everyone's Music

MySpace and Barstool Sports. The only two companies who could possibly lose decades worth of work. We tried to switch servers and every blog disappeared. MySpace tried to switch servers and all that music you used to listen to in 2006 disappeared. I mean honestly, if MySpace was the only place you ever put your music, you’re an idiot because who even knew it was still a thing, but still, it’s very funny they just *poof* lost EVERYTHING.

I don’t even know if kids these days realize how massive MySpace was. It was like how Twitter is now, movies would put the url for their MySpace page in commercials, on the posters, everything. Getting in someone’s top 8 was the most important thing in the world. That asshole Tom staring back at you on every page you went to

No joke, he was the most famous person in the Universe. MySpace Tom and the Pope, in that order. And then Tom sold it for $580 million and Facebook took over and the rest is history. But in it’s heyday, MySpace was the most important thing on the internet and will always be fondly remembered. Well…until they lost everyone’s pages. That’s a bummer.
